Persik vs Persib live streaming link in League 1
Score808 - Persib Bandung is ready to fight for the BRI League 1 2022/2023 follow-up match against Persik Kediri, Wednesday (7/12/2022) evening at Manahan Stadium, Solo.
The Maung Bandung players can't wait to be in action again.
"This is normal after almost three months without a game and we want to get back on the pitch, to play again. We want to do a good job and I say we are ready," said Persib coach Luis Milla.
The former coach of the Indonesian National Team has prepared anticipation for a busy schedule during the first round which will be held with a bubble system. Persib Bandung has also been practicing for the past month.
"For players, the most important thing is to have a good attitude and to compromise with this situation. If they can do that, I think it will be easier for them to go through," said Milla.
"For now the team is very ready to restart the competition, even though in the match we will be without three players because we were called up by the Indonesian national team," he continued.
Without the Indonesian National Team Trio
Persib Bandung lost three of its flagship players, such as Marc Klok, Ricky Kambuaya and Rahmat Irianto who strengthened the Indonesian national team in preparation for the 2022 AFF Cup.
"This is not a situation that I can control, this is not under my control. The national team has summoned three of our important players to attend training camp," said Milla.
"Without three national team players, for me this is normal and I understand that in preparation for the national team they need them. But we still have other players who are just as important. I believe in them," Milla continued.
The 56-year-old coach sees that all of his players currently have confidence and most importantly all of his players, said Milla, understand the system being implemented.
"All the players are ready to play and that is the plan when it is impossible for three national team players to play," said Milla ending.
Meanwhile, Persib's senior defender, Achmad Jufriyanto, is reluctant to underestimate Persik, who is currently at the bottom of the standings.
"We consider all teams the same, we don't think anyone is better or worse. For us all are equally good and we are aware of them," said Jupe.
What is certain, continued Jupe, Persib has prepared everything and scenarios to face opponents in every match.
"And what the coach gives us is our duty as players in every game, including against Persik later," said the number 16 player for Persib.
Jupe added, he and his colleagues were determined to do their best and win the remaining first round matches.
"We went to Yogya and the competition uses a bubble system and of course we want to go home with victory after victory. That is our determination," said Jupe.
However, Jupe said that competition with this system was not ideal, even though it was experienced when the COVID-19 storm hit.
"I think it's been a good home-away, but after what happened at Kanjuruhan for us to follow first what some football stake holders are trying to do. I hope that in the future it will be held with the initial system," Jupe hoped while ending.
